Baby, Books, and the rest of 2017

It has been far too long since I’ve posted an update. So here is everything that has happened since the last one in a nutshell.

Aside from finishing up at work, we started building our house this year and we’ve been trying to finish organising my mother-in-laws belongings (it’s been a three year process and sadly it’s still ongoing). Most recently, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Alayna was born on October 17 after close to 30 hours of labour!  Yep, 30 HOURS.

So where does that leave book stuff. I have nothing new to release this year. I tried, but I can’t rush the book I’m working on and it has gone through several facelifts and once the rough draft is complete, I suspect it will go through another one. That being said, I am writing. Slowly, but it’s happening. My goal for the rest of this year is to complete the rough draft of Why Not Me?. I would like to be reading through it in January, reworking things that need to be reworked, with the goal of having it in my editors hands in February. This is all dependent on how the next couple of months go, and I’m nowhere near ready to give a guesstimate on a release date.

My goal for 2018 is to release two novels.
